Welcome to the Black Bull at Barmston
The Black Bull and Caravan Park is situated in a prime position and enjoys the benefits of both the sea and country. It is located in the quiet village of Barmston opposite the village duck pond. The village itself dates back to Norman times and boasts a historic Norman church.
Bridlington is the nearest town with its famous harbour and its historical ‘Old Town’. A few places of interest in Bridlington are the Priory; the Bayle Gate in the Old Town and the new ‘Promenade Shopping Centre in the centre of the town. Further afield, there are the North Yorkshire Moors, and on the other side is the historic market town of Beverly, with its famous Saturday street market. Near to Barmston there is the popular Skirlington Market, whilt the famous Hornsea Freeport is a mere 20 miles away. There is a bus stop on the front of the car park with busses runnning regularly especially during the summer. Barmston beach is a only a pleasent half a mile walk from the pub.
The Black Bull offers a choice of fine wines and beers including cask ales and caters for all ages. There is a playground at the rear with a grassed beer garden, where customers are welcome to enjoy the country air during the long summer evenings.
The catering at The Black Bull is second to none. Good home cooked meals are available everyday and a Sunday lunch is available every week. We can cater for private parties and offer our newly furbished dining room as a function room. Contact us for more details.
The Bull has a cosy lounge bar with large open fire, a newly refurbished restaurant with seating for approximately 40 and a games room with pool, darts and dominoes. You can watch live BT sports in both the lounge bar and games room with top games shown throughout the year.
The Caravan Park is a 12 month site and all the caravans are privately owned.
